Important Info
-
Exfoliate & Hydrate – Gently exfoliate your skin the day/night before your appointment to remove dead skin cells. This helps the tanning solution apply evenly. Avoid oil-based scrubs. It is best to have your last shower at least 6 hours prior to appointment. This is a very important step to ensure your skin is prepped and ready.
Shave or Wax in Advance – Complete hair removal the day/night before your tan to allow pores to close and prevent uneven absorption.
Avoid Lotions & Deodorants – On the day of your tan, arrive with clean, dry skin—no moisturizers, perfumes, deodorants, or makeup, as they can create a barrier.
Wear Loose, Dark Clothing – Tight clothes can cause streaks or rub off the solution. Opt for loose-fitting attire and flip-flops.
-
Wear as little or as much as you feel comfortable in during your appointment! Just keep in mind anything you wear will leave you with tan lines. If you choose to wear underwear it’s best to wear something darker as it may be sprayed by bronzer.
-
Wait to Shower – Allow the tan to develop for 2–8 hours (or as instructed). Avoid water, sweating, or touching your skin during this time.
First Rinse – Rinse with lukewarm water only—no soap, scrubs, or loofahs. Pat skin dry with a towel.
Moisturize Daily – Hydrated skin helps your tan last longer! Use a gentle, oil-free moisturizer morning and night.
Avoid Exfoliation & Harsh Products – Steer clear of harsh soaps, retinol, and exfoliants that can fade your tan prematurely.
Extend Your Glow – Use a gradual tanning lotion or tan-extending moisturizer to maintain color.

Allergic reactions to natural ingredients can occur as well. If a skin reaction occurs, advise your client to take a Benadryl for immediate relief. Most people who have reactive skin, will be aware of what products trigger those reactions, including those with natural ingredients.
